Effective 31 October 2026
Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of Unbillable, a hosted writing tool for agency account managers. Please read section 4 in particular: this tool drafts text from figures you give it and it does not check those figures.
1. Who these terms are between
Unbillable is operated by Yonglie Zhu, an individual established in the People's Republic of China (“we”, “us”). By creating an account, signing in, or using the service you agree to these terms with us. If you are agreeing on behalf of an agency or company, you confirm you are allowed to do that and that the organisation is bound too.
You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account. The service is a business tool, not a consumer product for personal use.
Questions about these terms go to hello@getunbillable.cloud.
2. What the service does
You create a client record, enter performance figures for a reporting period, add a short note about what happened, and optionally paste writing samples so the tool can imitate your tone. The service sends that material to a third-party language model and returns a draft report: an executive summary, a results narrative, an explanation of the numbers, and a section on what went wrong.
The draft is yours to edit. Nothing is sent to your client by us.
3. Your account
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for activity under your account, so tell us promptly if you think it has been used by someone else.
- Give a real email address you control. It is the only way to reach you about the account, and we cannot recover an account whose address is wrong.
- One person per account. Sharing a login between colleagues is not permitted; each seat needs its own account.
- We may suspend or close an account that is used to break these terms, to attack the service, or to generate content that is unlawful or harmful.
4. What the drafts are, and what they are not
The model writes fluent prose. Fluent prose can be wrong. Specifically:
- The service does not connect to Google Ads, Meta, GA4, or any other ad platform. Every figure comes from what you typed.
- It does not verify, reconcile, or sanity-check your numbers. If you enter a cost per acquisition that does not follow from spend and conversions, the draft will repeat it.
- It does not know your client, your contract, or the promises your team made on a call. It knows the note you gave it.
- It can misread a note, overstate a result, invent a causal explanation that sounds plausible and is not, or describe a metric in the wrong direction.
- It has no knowledge of anything that happened after its training data was collected, and it cannot look anything up.
You are responsible for reading every draft before it goes to a client. Treat the output as a first draft from a junior colleague who has not seen the account: useful, fast, and in need of checking. We are not liable for a client relationship, contract, or commercial outcome affected by text you chose to send.
5. Your content, and the licence you give us
You keep all rights to what you put in (client names, figures, notes, writing samples) and to the drafts that come out. We claim no ownership of either.
To run the service we need a limited licence: to store your content, to send the relevant parts to the model provider for the purpose of generating your draft, and to show the result back to you. That licence exists only to operate the product for you. It does not let us publish your material, sell it, or use it to train a model. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what is stored and where it goes.
You confirm you have the right to put this material into the service — in practice, that your client relationship and your own agreements allow you to use a tool like this on their reporting data.
6. Credits and payment
- A new account starts with 3 free reports. It needs no card, and there is no time limit on them.
- Credits are sold in one-off packs: $9 for 3 reports, $29 for 12 reports, $49 for 25 reports, $79 for 40 reports. Prices are in US dollars on the pricing page, plus any tax we are required to collect, shown before you pay.
- A credit writes one report, or rewrites one section of a report. Editing a draft by hand and copying it use no credit. A credit is spent when the generation succeeds, not when it starts.
- Credits are bought once and never expire. Nothing renews, no card is stored for future charges, and there is no subscription to cancel.
- One report can carry at most 20,000 characters of input, and its written body is held to at most 3,000 characters. The editor shows both limits. Input over the cap is refused before it reaches the model and nothing is spent.
- There is no cap on how many clients you may create. Referral credits, where offered, add to the same credit balance; they have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and can be withdrawn if abused.
- Paid checkout is not yet connected. Until it is, packs cannot be bought and no charge can be taken. When checkout goes live, a payment provider will handle the card and its own terms will apply to the payment itself.
7. Refunds and ending the agreement
You can stop using the service at any time; because nothing renews, there is nothing to cancel and no further charge follows. Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
We may end this agreement if you materially break these terms and do not fix it within 14 days of being told, or immediately if the breach is serious (for example, attacking the service or using it for unlawful content). If we end it for our own convenience, we refund the unused credits in your balance at the price you paid for them.
8. Availability and changes
The service is provided as it is. We do not offer a service level agreement, an uptime guarantee, or a guarantee of any particular output quality. It runs on third-party infrastructure and a third-party model provider, and either can be slow or briefly unavailable.
Generation depends on a model provider we do not control. If that provider changes its pricing, availability, or model behaviour, output and uptime can change with it.
We may change or remove features. If we make a change that materially reduces what the service does, we will tell you by email before it takes effect, and you may ask for a refund of the unused credits in your balance.
9. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to:
- produce material that is fraudulent, defamatory, or intended to deceive a client or regulator;
- process special-category personal data, health records, payment card numbers, government identifiers, or data about children;
- attempt to break, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service, or get around credit, size or rate limits;
- resell the service or expose it as part of another product without our written agreement;
- upload malware or content you do not have the right to use.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that: we are not liable for lost profits, lost clients, lost revenue, or indirect or consequential loss; and our total liability arising out of the service is limited to the amount you have paid us for credits in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Where you have paid nothing, that cap is zero.
We are not liable for the accuracy of figures you supply, for how a client reacts to a draft, or for a decision taken on the basis of generated text that you did not check.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product changes. The effective date at the top of this page always shows the version in force. If a change is material, we will email account holders before it applies; continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new version.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the People's Republic of China, without regard to its conflict of law rules. If you are a consumer habitually resident elsewhere, this does not remove the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of your own country. Disputes go to the courts competent under that law; before starting one, please write to hello@getunbillable.cloud so we can try to settle it directly.
